Phaco Chopper

Phaco choppers are used in combination with the phaco tip to divide the lens nucleus into smaller fragments during cataract surgery. By reducing the required phaco energy and improving efficiency, they help lower the risk of thermal injury and endothelial stress. Various geometries accommodate different cataract densities and chopping techniques.
